Small workshops making products to order: clothing, jewellery, leather goods, woodwork and other crafts.
Manage orders on your own or with a team. The workflow is organised around orders, products and stages of work.
How do I get started?
Create an account and a workshop, then add your first order with a customer, products and a due date.
Break the work into stages and subtasks. Start with one real order to see how the system fits your process.
Can one order contain several products?
Yes. You can group several products in one order and track work on each separately.
For example, a suit can include a jacket and trousers. Each product has its own subtasks and work stage, while the customer and overall deadline belong to the order.
How do I track stages and deadlines?
The board shows the current stage of each product. The calendar and timeline help you schedule work by date.
Set an order deadline and schedule work on its products to see your workload and check what needs to be finished next.
Does my customer need an account to track an order?
No. When you enable public access to an order, the customer can open it through a personal link without registering.
Your workshop settings control which details and progress are shown. Internal data is not made public automatically.
Can I record deposits and other payments?
Yes. Set the order price and record customer payments as they arrive. The order shows the amount paid and the remaining balance.
For example, record a deposit and a final payment separately. This tracks payments for an order; it does not replace full accounting or production cost calculations.
Do I need a separate workshop website?
You can publish a workshop website directly in OrderForge on your own subdomain, with a description, services, portfolio and contacts.
Set it up in the public page settings. If the enquiry form is available and enabled, website enquiries can be converted into orders.
How do I check which features are available to me?
The subscription section shows your plan and available add-ons. You can choose the features your workshop needs there.
Website publication, enquiries and other features depend on your subscription. Check the included features and pricing in that section before enabling them.
